"Marakesh Salon is sponsoring two events Thursday and Friday at the salon, 2736 Pacific Blvd. S.E. Suite C. Those getting their hair cut on those days can donate their tresses to Locks of Love if the hair qualifies, and if not a portion of the haircut fee will be given to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital through KRKT?s fifth annual Country Cares radiothon. "To be given to Locks of Love, donated hair must be at least 10 inches, be bundled in a ponytail or braid, and not be bleached (dyed or permed is OK)."
