" " Dr. Lavern J. Holyfield, Director of Faculty Development at the Baylor College of Dentistry and a 2007-08 ADEA Leadership Institute Fellow, is the inaugural Jeanne C. Sinkford Scholar in the ADEA Leadership Institute. The award, made possible by GlaxoSmithKline, the National Dental Association, and ADEA, supports a dental school faculty member from a minority group underrepresented in dental education who has been selected for the ADEA Leadership Institute.
