It was a Pucci, and, my, it was pricey

Just because you buy vintage or resale clothes doesn't mean you won't dent your wallet.

I know, because just a few months ago I bought a 1960s silk Pucci dress. I'd been inspired by a charming new book written by the owner of a vintage clothing boutique.

The author of "Alligators, Old Mink and New Money," Alison Houtte writes extensively about vintage Pucci. Five days after finishing the book, I found my pink and lavender Pucci gown.
